Tapered hood columns and trunk side columns. An arched trunk door with choice flame mahogany and shaped top sides. An early example of a square painted dial with raised gilt corners, seconds and date aperture. Matching serpentine blued steel hands. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours on a bell.

Thomas Blundell of Dublin is recorded in Baillies' 'Watchmakers and Clockmakers of The World' book as working from 1766-1824.
