Hingstons of Wilton has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
This is a fine example of a Victorian serpentine inlaid walnut card table.
The serpentine shaped top in the best burr walnut, and then edged with amboyna cross banding.

It has its original playing surface that is bordered with leather gilt tooling. (We have left this as it still looks good and shows its life and honourable scars. We will replace it for no extra cost if required)

To each corner, this Victorian card table has an elegant cabriole leg with cast gilt brass mounts to the knees, matching moulding running down the front edge of the legs before ending with lovely gilt brass toes at the feet.
