Description

A Mid 19th Century Brass Telescope.

The main barrel with leather covered grip, fronted by the brass lens end, cover and aperture slide. The two drawers opening, toward the eye piece with a slide aperture. The first drawer engraved for 'Frederick Mamby and Brothers, Skipton'.

Date c 1860.

Height 1 3/4 inches, width (closed) 8 1/2 inches, depth (open) 19 inches.
