The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The fusee movement, is signed Thomas Richardson Hamden and is working well. An antique winding key is included although it is not original to the watch. The movement is protected by an inner fitted cover.
The watch itself measures 54.3mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop.
The case is in good condition with just light surface marking from use and some rubbing to the engine turned detail on the back of the watch.
The watch glass has light surface marking from use although very acceptable.
The enamel dial is in nice condition.
The watch has gold hands and a blued steel sub second hand.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
