Antique Yew Wood Windsor Chair William Wheatland

Description

A Good Georgian Windsor Armchair in Yew with an Elm seat, crinolin stretcher and crook under arm support this chair also has the scratch carved line around the outside edge of the seat which makes it undoubtedly a William Wheatland chair made before his move to Rockley whilst he was still working from Retford circa 1825. The condition is excellent with an attractive colour and patina, no loose joints.
