An excellent example of a curling stone ink well and paperweight. The stone is a lovely reddish/brown granite and is smooth and tactile. The lid is silver-plated and is firmly attached. The hinge is tight and the well for the ink is undamaged. There is a small amount of damage on the end of the handle.
