Arts & Crafts Striking Wall Clock.

1900 - 1920
Description

A very attractive Arts & Crafts wall clock. Unusually, this clock has an enamelled white dial as opposed to the more common silvered version. It has black Arabic numerals and nicely cut hands within a brass surround.

The 8 day movement has just been fully serviced by our BHI registered staff. It strikes on the half-hour and the hour. Importantly, it strikes with 4 hammers on 4 steel rods producing a wonderfuly clear , crisp, resonating chime.

The beautifully polished oak case has a very rich, warm patina.

A lovely clock.

All cards accepted.
