Here we have an exceptional 8 inch convex dial, wall clock with the original cream coloured enamel on the dial. Signed by the makers and retailers Dwerrihouse, Carter, Ogsten & Bell who were working throughout the Regency period at the Davies Street (address on Berkeley Square, London). A wonderful little mahogany case with brass inlay to the drop. An 8 day fusee movement with pendulum. Slender hands and a narrow wooden bezel. The convex glass appears to be the original for a change ! The cast brass bezel is held with a small latch. A truly rare and desirable clock which we will be sorry to part with. Circa 1840
