Quiet Street Antiques of Bath has dated this piece to the 1850s.
The solid mahogany cabinet features twin front doors, which open to reveal the full set of 17 jars, all with original labels and many with original contents! Two of the central drawers hold 8 further jars, some never opened and other drawers contain: pestle & mortar; scales; weights; measuring jars; pill rollers and many other items. To the reverse is the "secret" compartment (for poisons) with four further labelled jars present.
They do not come more original or complete than this superb example! 14ins high; 11.5ins wide 7.25ins deep. (35.5 x 29 x 18.5cms)
