Rare Navette Shaped Victorian Antique Silver Bowl 1895

This RARE VICTORIAN STERLING SILVER BOWL is of Boat or Navette shape and is stunningly decorated with scrolls and foliage.

This superb Antique Silver Bowl has a cast and applied scrolling edge with a stylised ‘Peacock Tail’ design to each end and is supported on an oval foot. To the interior the original light gilt coating is still present.

Made by Josiah Williams & Co in 1895 and made from heavy gauge silver, this stunning Silver Bowl has two blank cartouche and is free from any added engravings, monograms or initials.

In excellent condition with little sign of wear or use, this fabulous Antique Silver Bowl would enhance any silver collection or would look superb in any setting.
