Description

Antique Period Joined Oak Plank Top Gate Leg Dining Table and dating from around 1780. Constructed from solid oak and dating from around the time of George 111 c1780. This superb table with original plank top showing original deep patination to the oak and above a shaped frieze to each end and standing on turned and block legs on a turned foot. The table opens by means of a single gate leg action and it is hand and peg joined . This lovely table will seat six people comfortably ( plus two).
MEASURES: 29” HIGH X 17.5” DEEP WHEN CLOSED X 55” OPEN X 54” WIDE AND KNEE HEIGHT 28”
With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
