Large Chippendale Style Mahogany Display Cabinet

1900 - 1920
Description

A splendid Edwardian period Chippendale style display cabinet of generous proportions. Well made in solid mahogany and attractive flame mahogany veneers. The glazed upper section has a pair of bow-fronted doors which open to access a shelved display space. This pair of doors sit each side of a central glazed section. The base section has a similar arrangement of bow fronted cupboard doors flanking a central section. All standing on characteristic carved ball and claw feet surrounded by carved gadrooned moldings. This capacious cabinet offers a very large display space. It is offered for sale in excellent condition, with a good colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home. It splits into two sections for ease of installation.
