Description

Very unusual quartetto nest of tables with hand painted tops c.1920. Larger table painted with an 18th.c. style Romantic scene of courting lovers against a gold lacquered ground. Smaller tables painted with simple lake views in the same manner. Signed H.Leroy in the lower left corner of the larger table top. Raised on tall slim turned legs and shaped feet with dark gold finish. Excellent condition.
