This very striking and large VICTORIAN STAFFORDSHIRE BLUE & WHITE TRANSFER PRINTED SERVING PLATE, with well and tree detail, dates from circa 1850.

It bears the blue printed PATTERN name 'VERONA' to the back and impressed marks 'IMPROVED STONE CHINA' and the number 20.

The Maker has not been identified yet.

Apart from an old chip to one foot and some glaze rubbing to the edge, the SERVING PLATE is in good condition. There are no cracks or restoration.

This SERVING PLATE displays beautifully.
