George III Oak Open Dresser Base C.1800

Description

George III oak open dresser base c.1800. Two plank top with a mahogany crossbanded border and moulded edge over three large drawers with crossbanded and cockbeaded drawer fronts. Over a shaped apron, continued on the sides, and raised on shaped legs front and rear (an unusual feature) with pad feet. Mahogany crossbanded sides. Excellent colour and condition with later knobs and some earlier repairs and restorations. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
