A superb French gilded brass mounted cylinder bureau de dame. The shaped frieze drawer opens and rotates the Hand painted cylinder to reveal a 3 drawer interior. The fall opens onto the drawer front for support and is lined with original leather writing surface

The top with an attractive three quarter brass gallery and 3 drawers below. The whole standing on cabriole legs with further gilt brass adornments.All original mounts, good mellow patina and freestanding. Working lock with original key. Fully cleaned and waxed.
