Description

Mid 19th.c. oval portrait of a gentleman in oil on canvas c.1860. An imposing looking gent with a broad nose and a fine set of whiskers dressed in a black coat, high collared white shirt and black neck tie. Some minor wear to the surface, generally very good condition. Presented unframed on the original stretcher with a pencil inscription on the rear.
