Description

A splendid burr walnut library bookcase in the George I style. Of fine construction and dating from the Edwardian period. The two glazed doors open to access a display space with adjustable shelves. The base section has a pair of cupboard doors (which open to access a storage space with an internal shelf). With canted corners, cross banded door fronts, fielded paneled doors and original brass hardware, this is a very handsome bookcase. Standing on elegant ogee bracket feet. It is offered for sale in excellent condition and with keys supplied. It has a great colour and patina, and is ready to go straight into the home. It splits into two sections for ease of installation.
