Description

A lovely mid-Victorian period oval Loo , or supper, table. Of fine construction in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers and with extensive floral marquetry inlaid decoration to the top. The oval top can be tilted up on the base (and held in position) when not in use, to display its beauty. The scrolling quadraform base is in solid walnut with carved decorations and terminates in its original brass and ceramic castors. This charming table has a great color and patina. It is offered for sale in excellent original condition but it does have a very small area of repair to the inlaid detailing (see close up photo).
