Antique English Threaded Glass & Sterling Silver Match Strike

Description

A handsome match striker, made from threaded glass and topped with a sterling silver rim.

The hallmark is rubbed as they often are on these but I can make it out to be struck for Birmingham 1912 together with the makers mark for William Harrison. various Harrison's marks were registered by Imperial Tobacco Co between 1907 and 1916.

Excellent condition with minor wear commensurate with age. 2 1/2" in diameter x 2 1/8" tall.
