Late 19th.c. Rosewood Triple Wardrobe C.1890.

Description

Stunning late 19th.c. rosewood triple wardrobe c.1890. Break fronted with three long mirrored doors over three small drawers in the base. Hanging rail behind the centre door whilst the sides are fitted with three adjustable shelves to each. Shaped and moulded cornice with carved detail at the centre, beautifully figured rosewood veneers to the front and sides. Original shaped and bevelled mirrors with raised mouldings and carved leaf detail. Moulded drawer fronts with original gilded brass handles. Shaped and carved apron and legs. Superb quality, the carcass being of solid oak with oak drawer linings and back panels. Some minor tarnish to the mirror, otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops and with the original keys. Note for ease of delivery this wardrobe is demountable, coming apart into flat sections plus the cornice and base.
