A very rare pair of very early knotted-pile saddle-bag faces, made by Shahsevan nomads during the early 19th century in the Moghan region of Azerbaijan. Although missing their flat-woven backs, these bagfaces are highly collectable in todays market-place. The beautiful, saturated natural colours are just magnificent and the wool is soft and glossy.
