Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 1850s.
The tray with hinged sides, forming a rectangle when raised, and an oval when flat. The sides with brass ratchet hinges, the centre of the tray in four panels within broad rails. The folding stand decorated in lobed turnings, gently tapering to the ends. The legs joined by ring turned stretchers.
