Small Antique Silver Capstan Inkwell 1918

1900 - 1920
Description

This small ANTIQUE SILVER INKWELL is of classic Capstan form with a beautifully embossed design around the base which is repeated on the lid.

Complete with glass insert and original leather covered base this lovely Solid Silver Inkwell has no added engravings, initials or monograms.

Made by A & J Zimmerman in 1918 the Silver Inkwell is in excellent condition and would look superb on any desk or would add to any silver collection.

Glass insert is not original.

One or two minor dinks to base – nothing much but mentioned for accuracy.
