19th.c. Mahogany Pembroke Supper Table C.1830

Description

Elegant early 19th.c. mahogany pembroke supper table c.1830. Solid mahogany top with two folding leaves to seat four people. Unusually the legs are set wide enough to get a chair easily in between. Flame mahogany veneered apron with inlaid boxwood and ebony stringing, with a single drawer in one end. Raised on slim tapering square legs with matching inlays at the tops and brass castors. Quite a bit of old wear to the top – impressed marks which are only obvious when they catch the light. Generally very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
