The desk is in good condition for its age and has been well looked after. It has a lovely rich patina and the drawers run well. The inside of the drawers are generally clean and tidy with just some minor ink stains. The bottom two drawers have had the handles changed at some point and are slightly different to the rest but it doesn't affect the overall look of the desk. There are some normal light signs of age and use and some small knocks around the base but nothing detrimental and the leather surface is in superb condition, having been recently professionally replaced.
