Description

A Fine Quality mahogany inlaid Edwardian Period antique partners desk by S & H Jewell of London. Having a rectangular solid mahogany top with an inset red leather writing surface with gold tooling and chequer band inlaid detail. The front has nine mahogany lined drawers with solid mahogany drawer fronts again with further chequer band inlaid detail and finely cast brass swan neck handles. The reverse with three rectangular mahogany drawers and rectangular panelled doors with inlaid detail which open to reveal a shelved interior. The panelled ends also with inlaid chequer band detail. The whole supported on bracket feet with inset castors. Bearing the original cabinet makers/retailers label S & H Jewell of London English circa 1900

Dimensions: 60" wide x 42" deep x 32" high (knee hole 24" high x 25" wide)

Condition: This desk is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed
