Description

A 1930s Buren pocket watch. Ashton-u-Lyne

The watch has a signed stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed Buren, 7 jewels, Swiss made.

The watch measures 50.6mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case gold plated case is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has a light surface marks from use but overall is in good condition.

The watch lens is in nice condition.

The white enamel dial is signed Martin.W Koegh, Ashton-U-Lyne. The dial is in nice condition although there is wear to the W on the retailers name.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
