Heavy Silver Table Snuff Box

1900 - 1920
Description

A very good, heavy quality SILVER TABLE SNUFF BOX, by George Unite of Birmingham with cast scrolled edges and thumbpiece to the top which is engined turned and engraved with a fine crest to the central cartouche.

It opens to reveal the gilded interior and hallmarks to both lid and base. Further engine turning to the base with a vacant cartouche. 4 x 2.75 x 1 ins (10 x 7 x 2.5cms) Hallmarked for Birmingham 1901.
