Description

1923 Elgin white gold filled pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, grade 303, which is working nicely. The movement is signed and the serial number 25,845,937 dates it back to 1923.

The watch measures 42mm wide and 42mm high excluding the winding stem. The case is white gold filled and it is nicely decorated all round. There is a little light marking to the back but nothing serious at all. There is a cartouche with the initials GFR.

The watch glass is in good condition.

The watch has a very attractive dial in its original finish, with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes with an earlier chain (with a later T-bar) which measures 24cm long, and weighs 10.7g. The chain is probably Continental silver.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
