A fabulous quality French Kingwood and ormolu mounted display cabinet / vitrine in the Louis XV style, the shaped top having at the centre a fabulous ormolu mount, shaped glazed panels to the sides and a single glazed door at the centre opening to reveal two glass shelves inside and a lined shelf, there are five hand painted panels of romantic figures within a garden landscape in the 18th Century style, the paintings and ormolu are of the upmost quality and the serpentine shape of the cabinet is very pleasing to the eye, supported on six shaped legs with ormolu decoration. A lovely piece of furniture which would grace any home. Circa 1880.
