A high quality large French 18th century cartel wall clock in a gilded and burnished heavy bronze case. A convex enamel dial with 5 minute outer markers and fine gilt hands. Side sound fretwork. A glass pendulum aperture. An 8-day duration movement striking the 1/2 hour and hours on a bell. Circa 1770.
