A Gorgeous Silver Heart Shaped Scent Bottle with Silver Chain by Goldsmiths and Silversmiths

Description

This is a gorgeous hallmarked silver scent bottle/ pendant, with silver chain, by the great Goldsmiths and Silversmiths. The scent bottle is formed in the shape of a heart and is plain to both sides. The cap unscrews to reveal the original cork seal. The neck chain attaches to the shoulders of the bottle via two loops and is of good length, sitting around centre of the chest when worn. A delightful and unusual piece, making a great gift for Valentine's day. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or splits. There is one small blemish to the top of the cap.

Hallmarks :- Clear and readable, slight loss to makers mark. Full marks to both body and top.

Chain :- Marked 925 for sterling silver.

Maker :- Goldsmiths and Silversmiths.

Date :- London 1896.

Height :- 4.7 cms.

Width (Widest point):- 3 cms.

Depth :- 1.5 cm.
