A good antique Persian carpet, often described as Heriz, these single wefted pieces are actually more accurately described as Karaja. A great example this one with soft muted colours and gracious proportions. Lovely original condition, medium to high pile throughout, minor old restorations, a very clean piece, heavy and substantial. Great value for money.
