Description

A visually stunning rug, possibly made for a tribal Khan in the Chahar Mahal region of western Persia, circa 1900.

The rug is in mint condition with beautiful natural shades of indigo-blue, madder-red and a rare, stunning golden-yellow border. The central field contains a large cypress-tree and on either side, pomegranate trees.

Size: 1.86m x 1.38m (6' 1" x 4' 6").
