An exquisite little Victorian solid or sterling silver mug which in England was clearly a Christening mug, and today a perfect heirloom gift for a new baby or any other celebration ... to be cherished forever and handed down to the next generation.

The highly decorative repousse work and handsome handle is all in good gauge heavy silver weighing 2 53 ounces or 72 grams.

The hallmark is on the underside for Birmingham 1863 together with the makers mark JT for John Tongue.

Excellent condition ready to gift-wrap or display in your period silver collection and measuring 3" high and 2" across the base.
