A quite wonderful example of a jewellery casket, made from English sterling silver hallmarked for London 1919 together with the makers mark C & A for Collett & Anderson.

The top tortoiseshell panel is inlaid with top-notch silver pique work intricately engraved. Unusually all four sides of the box have tortoiseshell panels; all without damage and a stunning glossy patina showcasing the luxurious shell.

The box stands on four highly decorative cabriole legs. A stunning box for the discerning in magnificent condition; 5 1/2" x 4" x 2 3/4" tall.
