English Double Sterling Silver Photograph Frame - 1905

Description

A very smart and elegant photograph frame made from English sterling silver fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1905.

Under the glass are two circular bezels (with corresponding partial hallmarks) to frame photographs with a diameter measuring 2 5/8"; the surround is covered in a green silk taffeta.

The leather backing with an integral folding easel stand is all original and in lovely condition.

The makers mark L.E is present for the Birmingham silversmith, Lawrence Emanuel.

The overall size measures 9 5/8" x 5 5/8".
