An Antique Swiss Full Hunter Pocket Watch, Circa 1910s.

Description

An antique Swiss full hunter pocket watch, circa 1910s.

The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50.5mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was made by the Star Watch Case Company . U.S.A who made cases for various watch manufacturers. The case has light surface marking from use and a three small "dings" to the back but overall in good condition for an antique piece.

The winding crown pushes in to release the front cover. Inside there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition. Original glass lenses were often replaced with acrylic as it is much more durable.

The white enamel dial is in nice condition, and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
