William IV Mahogany Console Hall Table

19th century
Description

William IV mahogany console hall table.

Here you can purchase this William IV mahogany console hall table.

This fabulous table is rich in colour as well as of high quality.

The cabinetmaker took a lot of care and attention when selecting the timber on this job. It is obvious that he did not just pick up the first piece of mahogany that was to hand. There is a life and stripe to the grain that makes this so good to the eye.

The top has a moulding around the edge and below the top is an oak lined drawer of full width.

The front legs are shaped and carved with flattened acanthus leaf and scrolls.

The square back legs join the shaped platform base, which also joins to the front legs.

This console hall table finishes on small turned mahogany bun feet to the front.

Imagine how special this will look in situation in your hall way. It is normally the first thing a visitor will see as they arrive, and so having something special in place always gives a great first impression.

This console hall table is of a great size that makes it suitable for most if not all homes, also it has the practicality of good storage in the full width drawer as well as having the platform base.

Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.
