A Stunning Silver & Guilloche Enamel Cigarette Case

A stunning piece of Art Deco design in silver and guilloche enamel. The superior cigarette case is an outstanding example of craftsmanship from the jazz age. The rectangular body has engine turned decoration to the reverse and a fully gilded interior. The front has a green border and a graduated blue/grey starburst design in guilloche enamel. To the corner is an applied piece of carved jade. The dimensions render the case most suitable for an alternative use as a card case. A splendid example, typifying a bygone era. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents, splits or losses. There is a minute area of loss to the very edge of the green border, shown in photograph and very difficult to see. One tiny dimple to the reverse. All mentioned only for completeness and commensurate with age and use.
