Walnut Nest of Tables

1900 - 1920
Description

A lovely graduated nest of 3 tea tables in walnut, in the Queen Anne style. Well constructed in solid walnut with attractive flame walnut veneers to the table tops. Each top is cross banded and has a decorative carved freeze to the surround. Standing on elegant cabriole legs with carved detailing to the knees and terminating in stylised ball and claw feet. The smallest table has an under-tier, giving the whole nest rigidity. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition , free from wobbles and with a great colour and patina.
