Pair Victorian Silver Plated Lamps

19th century
Description

Circa 1890-1910 this pair of silver plated lamps were probably once oil lamps and still have the fitting at the top where the base of the glass shade would have slotted.

The lamps are in better condition than shown in the photographs, and not so dark in areas as appears. The silver plating is in good condition, but over the years there are tiny patches of wear.

The lamps measure 42cm to the very top of the lamp holder; 36cm from the base of the lamp holder to the base and the ornate base is 13cm square.

They have been rewired to UK specification and fitted with blue felt on the base to protect furniture.

Postage and packing within the UK mainland only is included in the price, and for remote parts of the UK or abroad, please contact us for a quote.
