A splendid Japanese Meiji period ivory okimono depicting a man stood on a rocky crag holding a basket of fish above his head with one hand, holding the spear he used to catch them in the other. This okimono has a stable age-related slit on the base otherwise it is in excellent condition standing 7 ¾ inches tall.
