Description

A 19th Century Silver Plated Wine Cooler.

The rim with winding and broading gadrooned decoration, above the campana shaped body. The body mounted with a pair of handles, in the form of vines, gathered at the centres by leaves and joining the body with layered vine leaves. The whole on a ringed socle, and stepped circular base complete with lift out liner. Good and substantial weight and casting.

Date c 1850.

Height 10 1/4 inches, width 9 1/4 inches, depth 9 inches.
