Description

A most unusual and beautifully shaped pill box made from English sterling silver fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1910 together with the makers mark for the silversmith, S. Blanckensee & Son Ltd,

The lid is beautifully decorated with a turquoise blue guilloche enamel showcasing a decorative engine turned design below, this is bordered with a solid white enamel border.

The lid lifts to reveal a lavishly gilded interior.

Excellent condition measuring 1 3/4" x 1 1/4" x 1/2" tall.
