Description

An elegant 19th century Cut Glass Ewer.

The rim with an oval cut edge, and broad spout, above the body decorated with bands of oval cut decoration surrounding a central and of diamond decoration.

The body tapering into a ringed stem, above the facet cut downward sloping base, with a stepped and rounded foot rim. The underside with a ground pontil.

Date c 1840.

Height 8 1/2 inches, width 7 1/2 inches, depth 4 1/2 inches.
