Solid Silver Four Slice Toast Rack 1904

An unusual SOLID SILVER TOAST RACK made by Walker & Hall in 1904.

The rack has a rectangular shaped body / base that has rounded corners and is supported by four pad feet. The toast rack has five unusual and delightfully shaped triangular type dividers resulting in four toast sections.

This lovely toast rack has not been engraved with any family crests or initials and one end has a full set of clearly defined hallmarks as described below.

This is made from exceptionally good gauge silver, fine quality and is in excellent condition and could be used as intended as a toast rack or as a superb desk top letter rack or would make a wonderful addition to any collection and would enhance any table setting.
