Description

Impressive C19th Indian carved padouk side cabinet; profusely carved with fine detailing throughout. The figured top, with shaped outline to the front, above a shaped frieze with acanthus leaf carving. The pair of central doors being bow fronted with arched panels and pierced carving of trailing foliage; flanked by slender pillasters with acanthus leaf decoration. The end doors with conforming carving also flanked by pillasters. The shaped plinth with acanthus and gadrooned mouldings with panels of trailing vines. Standing on 6 scroll lion paw feet. Good colour and patination
