Description

A mahogany Late Georgian Period breakfront wardrobe by Gillows of Lancaster. Having a rectangular moulded cornice above a central breakfront section with fine mahogany panelled doors, which opens to reveal five original oak lined sliding trays and three rectangular oak lined drawers with the original brass swan neck handles. The ends also with fine quality mahogany panelled doors each with a hanging rail, the left hand side having a mahogany lined drawer. Almost certainly by Gillows of Lancaster, removed from a large property in the Lake District. English circa 1800

Dimensions: 100" wide x 88" high x 20" deep at the ends x 28" deep in the centre

Condition: This wardrobe is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed

A mahogany Late Georgian Period breakfront wardrobe by Gillows of Lancaster.
